About Wawona Hotel
This wonderful establishment is one of the oldest mountain resort hotels in California and a National Historic Landmark. Its verdant meadows, rushing streams, and tranquillity make this a favourite for those who prefer a relaxed environment and the gracious charm of a bygone era. The hotel is located only 6 kilometres from the park's south entrance and cradled between the Mariposa Grove Big Trees and the Yosemite Valley. All tastefully decorated guest rooms with period furniture and Victorian touches have excellent facilities and modern amenities for a truly comfortable stay. Most of them also open onto a beautiful veranda, allowing its guests to breathe fresh air and rest at the end of the day. Guests can taste delicious dishes at the on-site restaurant and play a round of golf at the property's golf course. Please note starting May 20, 2022 – September 30, 2022, reservations will be required to enter the park between 6AM – 4PM in you personal vehicle
