About Avithos Resort
This family-friendly resort is situated in southern Kefalonia, close to Avithos beach. This is a lovely, fertile region where olive trees and citrus orchards abound. The coastline faces the tiny island of Dias and offers magnificent views to the island of Zakynthos across the channel. The resort's location makes an ideal setting for a peaceful and tranquil holiday. The nearby village of Svoronata is never crowded with tourists so there are no intrusive noises or sights to hamper your relaxation and private time. The resort is a perfect place for a holiday and an ideal base for exploring the island. The nearby villages of Kaligata, Kourkoumelata and Metaxata are charming local villages each with its own character and history. Guests will find restaurants within 200 metres of the accommodation, whilst shops are 1 km away. The beach resort of Lassi and the capital of Argostoli are 8 and 10 km away respectively. The airport is 3 km away and the transfer takes approximately 20 minutes. This air-conditioned resort is a brand new complex, which has been built in the traditional Kefalonian style and is set in spacious gardens. The living quarters are well designed and decorated, combining elegance and comfort and have all the amenities for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
