About Chalets@Terraced Gardens

Nestled in the lush, tranquil landscape of Riwaka, New Zealand, Chalets @ Terraced Gardens offers three self-contained studio chalets with breathtaking panoramic views. Opened in December 2008, these accommodations provide a relaxing retreat with stunning vistas of the mountains, Riwaka Valley, and Tasman Bay. Each chalet features a private deck, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty surrounding you. Modern amenities include air conditioning, double glazing, and electric blankets for cozy nights, while fresh breezes and ceiling fans keep you cool during the day. Inside, you'll find a queen-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, and a 32-inch LCD TV. A double sofa bed can accommodate two additional guests. All linen, crockery, and utensils are provided. Guests can also enjoy a shared BBQ area with two gas grills and a large table. A guest laundry is available free of charge, and one chalet offers disabled access. While the chalets are non-smoking, each private deck has a table and chairs for smoking outdoors. To reach us from Nelson, take the coastal highway through Mapua and Tasman to Motueka (approximately 30 minutes). Continue through Motueka and Riwaka. Just before the Riwaka Hotel, turn onto Dehra Doon Road and proceed 1. 3 km to the 'Terraced Gardens' sign. Turn in and follow the driveway up the hill to the office.
