The hotel is situated in the Furnas Valley on Sao Miguel Island. Guests can enjoy free access to the botanical park and the geothermal pool, and the hotel offers a variety of useful facilities such as a reading room, games room and for business travellers, conference rooms with Wi-Fi. There is also room service, private parking, and a gift shop. Guests can spend their days exploring the island with its hot springs, tea plantations and majestic national park, or enjoy a leisurely afternoon lounging by the hotel's outdoor pool and dining in the ritzy onsite restaurant, which serves delectable local specialities such as codfish stew cooked with natural volcanic heat.
