The hotel is situated in the Furnas Valley on Sao Miguel Island. Guests can enjoy free access to the botanical park and the geothermal pool, and the hotel offers a variety of useful facilities such as a reading room, games room and for business travellers, conference rooms with Wi-Fi. There is also room service, private parking, and a gift shop. Guests can spend their days exploring the island with its hot springs, tea plantations and majestic national park, or enjoy a leisurely afternoon lounging by the hotel's outdoor pool and dining in the ritzy onsite restaurant, which serves delectable local specialities such as codfish stew cooked with natural volcanic heat. Please note that due to routine and recurring maintenance of the thermal pool, which typically takes place between 4:30 p. m. and 2:00 p. m. the following day, we would like to inform you that the hotel cannot provide any form of compensation if it coincides with your dates of stay.
