About Relais San Clemente
This charming rural hotel is situated in a villa and former monastery in the heart of Umbria, right on the bank of the Tevere River. The corresponding church dates back to at least the year 1045, and is now an annexing chapel that is still occasionally used for mass. Guests may wish to explore the property and walk through the surrounding countryside, or take the train into the historic city centre of Perugia from the tiny, romantic station located on the monastery grounds. The hotel restaurant serves satisfying Umbrian cuisine, and meals can also be taken on the veranda with views of the pretty gardens.
