The hotel is within walking distance of Haugesund's wonderful cultural attractions with numerous cafés, shops and eateries all around. If you fancy a walk, we recommend you to visit the Amanda statue, the pink town hall, and the wonderful library park. There are boats departing from right outside the hotel allowing you to head out to discover the beautiful islands of Røvær, Feøy, and Vibrandstøy. You’ll also find four golf courses in the area. Haugesund is situated in stunning natural surroundings, with excellent roads for cycling as far as the Hardangerfjord or Jostedalsbreen.
The hotel is named after the Amanda Award, an annual award presented at the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund. The hotel is the perfect place to stay during this annual film festival.
