Monaci delle Terre Nere is a luxury eco-bio Relais located on the slopes of Mount Etna, surrounded by a 62-acre organic estate with terraced vineyards and views over the Mediterranean Sea. Since 2019, the property has been a member of Relais & Châteaux.
The estate features 25 rooms, suites and pool villas where traditional Sicilian architecture blends with contemporary design. Original elements such as oak-beamed ceilings, stone walls, ancient wine presses and frescoes coexist with modern Italian furnishings by brands including Flos, Lago, Gervasoni and B&B Italia, alongside artworks by British-Brazilian artist Olivier Mourao and the owners’ private collection of antiques and reclaimed pieces.
