About Pestana Kruger Lodge
This lodge is situated less than 1 km away from Malelane Gate, the most southern entrance to Kruger National Park. It is surrounded by 22 ha of indigenous gardens and unspoilt African bush with magnificent views of the Crocodile River. Guests will be able to watch hippos and other animals close by, as they stroll down to the river for a drink of water or to cool down. Kruger National Park is only 700 m away and has 2000 km of road tracks and 6 permanent rivers crossing the savannah. Here guests can see lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos, not to mention 336 types of trees, 49 species of fish, 114 types of reptiles and 507 different bird species, as well as giraffe, monkeys, zebras and antelopes. The lodge is roughly 400 km from Johannesburg (4 hours drive), 56 km from Nelspruit, 6 km from the town of Malelane, 176 km from Maputo and an hour's drive from Swaziland. In this amazing spa resort guests will feel as if they are surrounded by nature at all times. The lodge comprises a total of 74 rooms and is a great get-away for families wanting a relaxing holiday in the African bush. It is also ideal for conferences and can cater for up to 150 delegates.
