About Doric Boutique Hotel - Resort
The Doric Boutique Hotel Resort is immersed in the UNESCO landscape of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, from which it is only 1.5 km away. The hotel has 28 rooms, all with a view of the majestic Temple of Juno: the jewel in our crown are the 10 deluxe rooms with a view of the temple and private heated pool and the queen panoramic with Turkish bath and Jacuzzi located on its enormous terrace, and the latest additions, the Ville Suites with private pool, all with a view of the Valley of the Temples. Completing the rich mosaic of our hospitality are the standard and standard rooms with balcony, also with a view of the archaeological site.
The hotel offers all modern comforts including an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Valley with a swim-up bar, a gym, and a panoramic restaurant, Ambrosia, where the chef uses organic products from the area and from our farm as well as herbs from our garden to satisfy the palates of our guests.
The Doric Boutique Hotel is eco friendly using photovoltaic and solar thermal energy trying to balance consumption and production. Above all, we give a “new life” to water by means of a natural phyto-purification plant, recovering all the water that the structure would have to dispose of. We enhance the products from our own farm, such as pistachios, almonds, oil, etc., but we also create synergies with the best companies in the area.
Our hotel is in a strategic position for those who want to explore not only the Valley of the Temples but all that the province has to offer: we are 5 km from the sea and the historic centre of Agrigento, 15 km from the scenic Scala dei Turchi, 6 km from the Farm Cultural Park in Favara (the largest and most important open-air exhibition of contemporary art in Sicily), 15 km from the Arab-Baroque town of Naro and 30 km from the city of the Leopard, or for those with more time, the metaphysical theatre of Andromeda.
