About Belvidere Manor
Sitting in the place where the mighty Knysna River joins the Indian Ocean is this historic hotel. Overlooking the Lagoon, it treats its guests to stunning views of the distant Outeniqua Mountains and a tranquil ambience in which they can find respite from the stress and strains of the daily life. Guests start their day with a hearty farmhouse breakfast and then explore the gardens of the estate where over 270 species of birds nest, or simply relax around the outdoor pool and take advantage of the perfect weather. Accommodation is in private cottages built in the style of historic Belvidere House dating from 1849. Each offers a comfortable sitting room, kitchen and options of one, two or three double en-suite bedrooms, with patio or balcony.
