Lough Eske Castle is renowned for the best of Donegal hospitality. This stunning, 5 star castle hotel and its estate has a long history dating back 14th century, with the main castle building from 1861. Guests are welcomed by sumptuous Castle Drawing Rooms, a perfect retreat and made for relaxing by one of the many open fires.
The bedrooms and suites are spacious, elegantly designed with bespoke Oak furniture, featuring 32-inch flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee machines & bluetooth speakers as standard. All bathrooms have marble tiling and benefit from twin vanity units, separate bath and rainforest shower, ESPA amenities and luxurious robes and slippers.
The award-winning Cedars Restaurant features produce from the Wild Atlantic Way including seafood from the nearby port of Killybegs. The Gallery Bar offers a more casual dining experience, whilst the Father Browne Bar provides a cosy setting for enjoying a drink or having a light bite to eat. The new whiskey cellar showcases Donegal’s unique whiskeys with bespoke tasting experiences.
CARA Organic and Spa is situated in the serene walled castle gardens and features thermal suite including an ice fountain, sauna, steam room, sanarium, tropical experience showers, heated bench, jaccuzi and massage suites, including a couples suite. There is a fitness centre and swimming pool which is located in a glass atrium, offering views over the grounds. Recently added to the wall gardens by the Spa are newly installed outdoor hot tubs.
