About Lunetta Roma
This historical hotel, decorated in an elegant combination of black and white tones, is situated in the heart of the city, just behind Campo De Fiori and approximately 200 metres from Piazza Navona. After a nice stroll, guests will reach a number of touristic sites of historic and cultural interest, such as St Peter's Basilica and the Pantheon, among others. This is an ideal place from where guests will get to know this magnificent city. In an intimate atmosphere rich with history, Hotel Lunetta is a 4-star boutique hotel in the old heart of Rome. Completely restored between 2009 and 2011, the structure used to be the ancient Albergo della Luna (dating back to the year 1368). It is remembered as the first hotel in the Eternal City, and Paduan architect Francesco da Carrara – also a guest here – designed its fireplace during the hotel's inaugural year. With the presence of a half-moon on its facade, the hotel was referred to as “La Lunetta” beginning in 1782.
