About Cala de Mar Resort & Spa Ixtapa
The beach hotel is located around 3 km from the modern tourist area of Ixtapa and the traditional village of Zihuatanejo is just a 10-minute drive. Guests can reach the beach in just 5 minutes on foot and there are entertainment venues nearby. The club resort is approximately 25 minutes from the airport and Acapulco is around a 5-hour drive. The air-conditioned hotel has 59 rooms, each with a private pool, and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. The property is built in the form of a waterfall descending into the Pacific, and it features a hairdressing salon, restaurants, a bar, cafe and room service.
