The hotel Apoksiomen is located on the waterfront, surrounded by picturesque stone houses and narrow streets of the old town of Mali Lošinj, a small coastal town whose inhabitants live from the sea and for the sea.
As early as the beginning of the 19th century, Mali Lošinj was recognized as a health resort, whose untouched nature and clean air full of aerosols have a beneficial effect on the respiratory tract so, regardless of the distance from then modern European cities, the development of health tourism soon began.
Today, the island is synonymous with untouched nature, hidden coves with crystal clear sea, fragrant Mediterranean herbs, promenades, bike routes, nautical tourism, gastronomy and friendly hosts.
Hotel Apoksiomen provides all this, because due to its location it is an ideal place from which you can experience the pulse of the city, while enjoying the cleanest air and views of the blue sea and pine forests.
It was named after the famous sculpture of a bronze Greek athlete, which laid on the bottom sea for thousands of years until it was discovered in the immediate vicinity of Lošinj in 1996. The sculpture of this value deserved a special place to stay. After the great engagement of the local community, the Museum of Apoksiomen with the statue as it's only exhibit, was founded in Mali Lošinj.
