The hotel is located within the heart of Kalk Bay village and within walking distance of all restaurants, bars, shops and sandy and rocky beaches. There are monuments attesting to the history of Kalk Bay, a variety of quaint home-owned stores far removed from the impersonal malls of the city. Down the road is the Historic Naval Base in Simon's Town resplendent with old pubs and seaside dining. Within 30 minutes is the Cape of Good Hope. Cape Town International Airport is approximately 35 km away. Lovingly restored in 2008, this is a 120-year-old grand house overlooking the picturesque Kalk Bay harbour. Almost all the hotel's 13 rooms offer unrivalled views over the sea and Kalk Bay harbour. Decorated in an understated, comfortable and uncluttered style, contemporary sea house luxury awaits guests, far from the cares of the world. Guests are welcomed into a lobby and the hotel has a hotel safe and breakfast room. There are conference facilities available to business guests and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). Guests can also take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services. Those guests arriving by car may park their vehicles in the hotel's car park or garage (fees apply to the latter). All hotel rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer and are furnished with king-size beds and a flat screen TV with satellite/cable TV. Internet access is also available and a safe is provided.  The hotel has a beautiful outside swimming pool with deck, sun loungers and parasols where guests can relax and soak up the sun. Drinks are offered at the pool at an extra charge.
