About Katiliya Mountain Resort & Spa Chiang Rai
The family-friendly club resort is situated in Thailand's northern-most province, Chiang Rai. The grand villas and suites preside over the spellbinding landscape of lush green valleys, mountain lakes and endless forest-covered hills. It is located approximately 45 minutes' drive from Chiang Rai International Airport (38 km). This mountain resort, opened in November 2008, comprises 56 suites, all with panoramic views. Otherworldly ruins of antiquity offer glimpses of the beauty and magnificence of the 800-year old Lanna civilization that time has forgotten, although its identity is still very much apparent in the fabric of life. It is in such a place where you can experience the heights of comfort and opulence, as well as the renowned hospitality of the north, set against a backdrop of wilderness and adventure. A lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom all feature. There is a kids' club for younger guests, whilst the café, bar and restaurant cater to guests' dining and refreshment needs. The resort also offers conference facilities, a car park and for an additional fee, WLAN Internet access and room and laundry services. In the only all-suite resort in the area, the luxury suites range from 90 to 375 m². 3-metre-high ceilings and spacious interiors open each room up to the breathtaking scenery outside. Large balconies in all suites allow unrestricted outdoor pleasure. Rooms with a terrace are also available. All the en suite bathrooms are fitted with oversized bathtubs, separate his-and-hers vanities, enveloping rain-shower systems, hairdryer and capacious wardrobes. The suites are equipped with king-size bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, minibar, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. They also have individually regulated air conditioning as standard.
