About Kaikatei Hanagozen
Kaikatei Hanagozen is a traditional Japanese ryokan offering an elegant retreat in the Yuhigaura Onsen area of Kyotango. The inn creates an authentic atmosphere with tatami matting laid throughout the entire building. Guests can dine on fresh seafood cuisine, a speciality of the ryokan which is directly managed by a seafood wholesaler. The property features natural hot spring baths, known as 'beauty baths', drawn from a private source. In addition to a large open-air bath, there is also an on-site sauna. Accommodation consists of Japanese-style and Japanese-Western-style rooms, many of which include a private open-air hot spring bath. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and are non-smoking. Located 300 metres from Yuhigaura Beach, the ryokan is a convenient base for coastal walks. A shuttle service is available from Yuhigaura Kitsu-Onsen Station, a five-minute journey away. Free private parking is available on-site.
