The resort is an oasis of peace and relaxation nestled in a splendid 25-hectare lush, tropical garden, thanks to the microclimate along this brief tract of coastline. The temperate climate of all Sardinia is extremely mild, but the southern part of the island benefits from a truly extraordinary sub-tropical microclimate. The resort, shaded by tall pines, is protected from the cold winds of the North thanks to a chain of low mountains just up-country. Sardinia is called the pearl of the Mediterranean, but as well as being one of the most beautiful islands in the Mare Nostrum, it is one of the richest in history and tradition, in flavours and aromas. Guests may immerse themselves in the transparent blue of its waters, walk along the unspoilt sandy beaches and discover the traces of ancient civilisations from the Carthaginians to the Romans, or lose themselves in the inexhaustible richness of its cuisine.
