About Hotel Svicarija
The Hotel Švicarija, a four-star establishment dating back to 1872, retains its original charm despite several renovations. Once a jewel of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the pride of the Styrian region, the hotel completed a comprehensive renovation in 2023. It now offers 43 modern rooms across three floors, including eight single rooms, 27 king double rooms, four queen double rooms with a couch, one queen double room, and three superior twin double rooms. An elevator serves the first two floors, with stairs leading to the third. Each modern room features a bathroom (toilet and shower), hairdryer, climate control, heated bathroom and hallway floors, TV, minibar, safe, and kettle. Hotel amenities include a reception (open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm), a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner buffet-style, and the Švicarija café. Active guests will appreciate the fitness center, while the Sauna Spa offers Finnish and Turkish saunas, a relaxation area, an outdoor thermal shower, and a Kneipp pool. For business travelers, a business room is available, equipped with a computer, printer, television, and meeting table. Free parking is available near the hotel. Dogs are welcome with prior notice. Guests also have access to additional features at the Hotel Vita, including indoor and outdoor thermal pools, the Arbora SPA (sauna, jacuzzi, and relaxation area), LaVita massage and beauty center, Kamin à la carte restaurant, Vita café, the self-service Vita restaurant, Dobrna Medical, a fitness center, and the LaVita hotel shop.
