About Quamby Homestead

Historic Quamby Homestead (c1888) is located approximately 20mins drive inland from The Great Ocean Road and Warrnambool, and 30 minutes drive inland from Port Fairy. Quamby provides an ideal destination for exploring this fascinating region, which also includes volcanic Tower Hill, historic Port Fairy and Koroit, whale watching at Logan's Beach in Warrnambool, or participating in one of the many festivals held in the South West district, before traveling onto The Grampians, Ballarat Goldfields, Melbourne or Adelaide and South Australia. Alternatively, relax and enjoy the local native wildlife (kangaroos, koalas, cockatoos, possums), watch cattle and horses graze in the paddocks, or take a stroll around the 2km property walk and 3acres of gardens. Whatever your preference, you are welcome to stay as long as you like, just be sure to come and experience Quamby, Aboriginal for resting place.
