Welcome to the Merrijig Inn, a special place in Port Fairy. As the oldest inn in Victoria, we're located in the heart of the historic village, opposite the wharf and the beautiful Moyne River. The Inn offers traditional bed and breakfast accommodations with many homely comforts. Our spacious Queen and King suites are located in the house adjoining the old inn. Relax in our cozy lounge with an open fire, browse magazines in our various sitting rooms, or explore the garden. Enjoy a substantial breakfast featuring homemade fruits and preserves, sourdough bread, and our cooked breakfast of the day, prepared with free-range eggs and local bacon. Delicious coffee is guaranteed. Our restaurant, the Merrijig Kitchen, offers a daily menu highlighting local, seasonal produce. The carefully crafted wine list focuses on biodynamic winemakers. The restaurant is open for dinner Thursday through Monday.
