We are surrounded by natural, indigenous bush including the Umbhaba Tree (Lowveld Chestnut) after which the lodge is named. The lodge is built among stunning dams and water features, overlooking the Sabie valley in the distance. We have abundant bird life and the most beautiful sunsets, making it the perfect location for a sundowner after an amazing safari in the Kruger National Park. Umbhaba Eco Lodge is only 15 km to Numbi & Phabeni gate, allowing one to enter and exit at different gates. This greatly increases your chances of seeing abundant wildlife in different vegetation zones and offers a variation in scenery. The total number of bedrooms is 43, Free Wi-Fi access. Cots are not available at this property. Pets are not allowed at this establishment.
