About Halkova
This charming, small city hotel, built in 1912, is nestled in Prague's tourist center, a short walk from Wenceslas Square and the National Museum. The Old Town Square is about 20 minutes away, with shops, bars, pubs, and public transport all conveniently nearby. The international airport is approximately 30 km away (a 40-minute drive). The hotel offers 10 double rooms across three floors, an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a safe, currency exchange, lift, lobby bar, TV room, and a restaurant with a non-smoking area. Room and laundry services are available, as well as medical assistance. Each room features antique-style furnishings, stucco ceilings, wooden floors, a direct-dial telephone, a seating area, and a decorative fireplace. To reach the hotel from the airport by public transport, take bus number 119 to the Dejvická metro station (Line A). Change at Muzeum station to Line C and travel one stop to I. P. Pavlova. From the main train station (Hlavní nádraží), take metro line C two stops to I. P. Pavlova. At I. P. Pavlova, exit the escalator to the left, walk a few meters, cross the street, and turn onto Sokolska street. Halkova street is the first left.
