An elegant, comfortable, unpretentious boutique hotel offering quality without ostentation on the French Riviera. With a choice of stunning views over the Mediterranean or our peaceful shady garden, the well-appointed and spacious rooms have been renovated to a high standard on a theme inspired by the art of Jean Cocteau. The hotel has 44 recently renovated rooms including sea view rooms with spacious balconies. All feature free excellent quality Wi-Fi, free non-alcoholic minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, USB charge points and large flat screen televisions with a good selection of international channels. The 2 junior suites (38sq. m. ), with stunning panoramic views from their terraces, are themed around two artists who lived in Menton: Jean Cocteau and Graham Sutherland. The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool, gym, shady garden terrace and a fully equipped conference room, and is open all year round. Drinks are served at all hours to hotel guests at the lounge bar and its terrace. The hotel is located on the sea front 1km from the Italian border and 500m from the old town of Menton. Within walking distance there are a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes. Customers can enjoy the beaches of the bay of Garavan which offer a range of water sports and activities (sailing, kayak, towed inflatables, and scuba diving). Menton’s subtropical climate creates the unique flora showcased in the gardens of Val Rahmeh and Fontana Rosa. At the old port, opposite the covered market, the Cocteau museum lets you discover an artist whose work inspired the decorative concept of the hotel. There is easy access to public transport with Menton Garavan train station 600m from the hotel, letting you journey directly to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Ventimiglia. There are also 2 bus lines that run from in front of the hotel, the first going to Menton’s main bus terminal, the other following the sea front from the Italian border to Monaco.
